Nepenthes Fanciful Machine

I got this plant around October of last year that came in along with 6 other plants from the Ultra Grab Bag. Its been around 5/6 months of having this plant. It has been growing nicely and I love how the plant leaf and pitchers is purple. Its showing some stripping on the pitchers peristome and this plant has so much more growing to do. I cant wait till mature feature starts showing! Would recommend buying if you want a unique color to pop out of your collection. It really pops out since my other nepenthes leafs are green, only this plant has that amazing purpleness!

I got the XXS size of this plant about a year ago. While I was looking forward to my first nepenthes, I didn't realize exactly what ordering a tiny plant in winter entailed. Naturally it was cold, and it got delayed, and showed up in shock. After much tlc, it started growing again about 6 months later. A year later it is still smaller than it was when I got it (from about 1" down to 0.5"). I know I could have been better prepared ordering this plant, but Predatory Plants should seriously reconsider selling such small plants. They are extremely fragile and mine barely survived. Make sure you get a heat pack and be prepared for a very long acclimation period if you buy a small plant! That being said, I still love this plant and look forward to watching it mature.

Got it today it is cute and looks healthy I would recommend for any carnivorous plant grower or enthusiast.
