Nepenthes Fancy Tapestry

I received this plant free as part of a promotion. No one can get mad at a free plant, so honestly my expectations were non-existent. However. This plant did not disappoint upon arrival. Mine came with one teeny pitcher, ugh, talk about adorable. This is my second order from Predatory Plants and I will keep coming back. Packaging is amazing. I have materials to plant these in when they came but being my very first pitcher plants this was still going to be new for me. The hanging pot I bought was way too big BUT I was able to sit both my pitcher plants from this order - planted in the moss shipped with the plants and in the little green nursery pots they send with every order - and now I have two plant pots in one pot and surrounded with moss so you can’t even see the tops of the pots. It made my day when I got done setting them up and now they are enjoying the indirect bright sun and hopefully that one little pitcher is going to eat all these dang gnats from my huge potted indoor plants! Or at least eat what the Dawn soap spray doesn’t kill.

I resived this plant as a gift it's supposed to be a high land but i been raising it as a low land nepenthes it has grown from an xxs to a xxl and it has surpassed my expectations it must be the veitchii genes that allow it to live as a low land it arrived in excellent condition and no damage ones so ever excellent work from predatory plants team

I ordered an XS, which they weren’t kidding about! But it’s already showing nice coloration on its pitchers for its size. What makes me so stoked on my purchase though is the quality my plants came in. No pitchers were damaged and the medium was still moist. I love that they ship using potting media as box filler. It cuts out waste, is safe for the plants, and super convenient when you receive the packaging!

Was excited to receive the notice of the promotion regarding N. fancy tapestry and would LOVE to see more of those. Josh's Predatory Plants is definitely one of my "go to's" for my Nepenthes especially for his fascination with creating hybrids. Can't wait to see how this XXS grows into a XXL.

I ordered the largest size available for the Nepenthes Fancy tapestry which is a small and for what I would consider to be a XS size - just a little bigger than the photo above. Mine does not have any of the red coloration and is solid green but is overall healthy. I hope the red appears soon. Also, I find the price to be relatively high for the size of the plant. Locally, I can purchase a variety of super large pitcher plants that come in a 10” hanging pots for the same price.
