Rare release! Nepenthes lavicola is a rare plant to breed with, and we've only done it a couple times. This is from a small set we made with N. ventricosa as the seed parent. This specimen is showing wonderful color, both on the pitcher and in the peristome striping, and also a lot of the wonderful tubby shape we were hoping would come through from the N. lavicola. It's also got some cool dark color on the leaves. Great little hybrid!
This is a specimen listing. You will receive the EXACT PLANT pictured in the first four pictures. We don't know how many of these will be sold.
The full designation for this hybrid is N. ventricosa "black peristome" lavicola. Click the "Grex Information" tab above for more information on this hybrid. See our Grex Index for more information on our breeding and naming program.
This plant will be shipped bare-root with a 3" plastic pot and enough top-quality New Zealand long-fiber sphagnum moss to fill it. Planting and growing instructions will also be included.
