Commonly known as the primrose butterwort, Pinguicula primuliflora grows in rosettes of long, green leaves. This butterwort carnivorous plant produces multiple flower stalks, and typically have white flowers. The surfaces of the leaves and flower stems are covered with droplets of glistening adhesive. Insects become stuck to these surfaces, and are then digested. These plants specialize in catching gnats, fruit-flies, and other small insects. Without these plants, our greenhouse would be completely overrun with fungus-gnats.

This butterwort carnivorous plant will be shipped bare-root with a 3" plastic pot and enough top-quality New Zealand long-fiber sphagnum moss to fill it. Planting and growing instructions will also be included.
