Sarracenia x catesbaei 1731E

Ordered this little back-crossed catesbaei. I’m a sucker for red tubes with green lids laced with red veins. Plant arrived a little less than a week after the order, and as expected, the plant was in good shape and still plenty wet in the packaging. Of course I immediately stripped the roots of any sphagnum and prepared a peat/perlite substrate, I HATE planting Sarracenia in straight sphagnum. Overall I’m really pleased with the order and am looking forward to watching this Sarr grow.

Pitchers have an amazing red color with A nice ruffled lid.
