Utricularia nelumbifolia is a unique species of bladderwort from Brazil. It has large, peltate leaves and wonderfully elaborate flowers. It naturally grows in the urns of bromeliads of genus Vriesea. U. nelumbifolia is a member of section Orchidioides, which are some of the most spectacular of all Utricularia.
