Cephalotus follicularis

My Cephalotus arrived healthy and has been doing well. I have it in my carnivous plant and orchid room and it is already producing new pitchers and has sprouted a new growth point with leaves and a pitcher. It seems to like t5s.

There is just nothing quite like this plant - it is so distinctive. Arrived in great condition with 2 small pitchers. Healthy specimen.

I was initially hesitant to try Cephalotus due to a reputation for difficulty, but it settled in very well alongside my cool growing orchids. I've been growing under LED lights with daytime temps ranging from 68-78 F and night temps ranging from 50-58 F. I water lightly with low TDS water (25-70 PPM) about 5 days a week. In less than 6 months it has put out at least 10 new pitchers with several that are over twice the size of the largest that were there at time of delivery.

Even though My mail service got it here in 6 days my ceph was healthy enough that I think it will be fine. I'm still waiting for it to settle in. I'll update once I see new growth.
